Web Administrator - Valencia, Spain - 6 Months Contract + Long term extensions Long term contract opportunity for a Web Administrator with a focus on Windows OS. As a freelance consultant, you'll join an international team delivering on-going administration and support for the Web Hosting Service. Single stage interviews will take place in late February with onboarding in March 2025.
Duties Will Include - Ongoing operational support as part of a Unified Web Hosting Team
- Manage and maintain websites built on .Net Framework within a Windows environment
- Implementing automation
- Working with other teams to implement and manage web hosting solutions
- Web analytics using the Web-trend web statistics tool
- Reporting and documentation
You will have: - Strong Windows OS background
- Web hosting and web security experience (.Net Framework, SSL/TLS, authentication protocols)
- Experience with Cloud and automation (Azure, AWS, Powershell scripting)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, SSO and SQL database infrastructure
- Monitoring experience using APM tools and web analytics, Webtrends etc
- Some network knowledge, DNS, HHTP and related protocols
- DevOps knowledge is a bonus (CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps)
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory
This role can be worked fully remotely from the CET time zone, or onsite at the client location in Valencia, Spain.
