Full Stack Engineer

Remote Senior Full-Stack Web Developer - Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

Overview:

I'm currently working on behalf of a software consultancy client who have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer. You'll be assisting with long term projects utilising a diverse modern technological stack.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience with MVC web frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a large-scale, multi-tenant platform.
• Work with Symfony 6.4 LTS (PHP 8.1+), React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Optimize performance using Redis, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ.
• Implement DevOps solutions using Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
• Follow Agile (Kanban) and Lean methodologies.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and retrospective sessions.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with MVC web frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.).
• Strong experience with React or equivalent frontend framework.
• Proficiency with MySQL/PostgreSQL and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Expertise in Git, including feature branch workflows and pull requests.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker and Terraform (preferred).
