Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Overview:

I am working with a client who is looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on innovative projects across various business areas, including freight ferry services, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Head of Information Systems.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code.
• Solve technical challenges and proactively learn new skills.
• Assist with scoping documents and interpreting requirements.
• Launch code into UAT and live environments.
• Participate in peer code reviews and internal tech talks.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing and new software.
• Liaise with business stakeholders to create functional and technical specifications.

Required Skills:

• Angular (or similar JavaScript frameworks)
• TypeScript
• Node.js
• MongoDB

Desirable Skills:

• AWS Lambda, AWS EventBridge, AWS Step Functions
• NestJS
• Ionic
• MySQL/MariaDB
• PHP, Drupal

Additional Information:

• Applicants outside the UK cannot be considered as the company is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
• Would require you to be in the office 2 days a month.
