Web Content Developer (Remote)

Role Description:

Mabaya Group is seeking a Web Content Developer to create and optimize high-quality digital content for websites, blogs, and online platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, a good understanding of SEO best practices, and experience in web content management.

This is a remote contract role, but candidates must be based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and manage web content to improve engagement and user experience.
• Implement SEO strategies to optimize content for search engines.
• Ensure consistency in brand tone, voice, and messaging across digital platforms.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance website functionality and content presentation.
• Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to refine content strategies.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in web content development, digital marketing, or related fields.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization.
• Experience using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Wix, or Shopify.
• Candidates must be based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for web content formatting.
• Experience working with UX/UI teams to improve website usability.

Compensation & Job Type:

• Freelance, Contract (Paid) ? Compensation based on experience and project scope.
• Estimated Pay Range: $20 ? $50 per hour, depending on expertise.
