Web Content Developer (Remote)

Role Description:

Makini Concept is looking for a Web Content Developer to create, edit, and optimize digital content for websites and online platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, SEO, and UX writing to enhance web experiences and drive engagement.

This is a remote contract role, but candidates must be based in the New York City Metropolitan Area and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and publish high-quality web content that aligns with brand messaging and goals.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and traffic.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure engaging and user-friendly website content.
• Maintain content consistency in tone, style, and formatting across web pages.
• Analyze website performance metrics and optimize content accordingly.
• Manage content within CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar systems.
• Ensure timely updates of web pages based on business needs, promotions, and product launches.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in web content development, digital copywriting, or online publishing.
• Proficiency in SEO, content strategy, and user experience (UX) writing.
• Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla).
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
• Candidates must be based in the New York City Metropolitan Area and eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Google Analytics, keyword research tools, and content performance tracking.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-friendly content practices.
• Ability to write conversion-driven and user-friendly copy.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with design and development teams.

Compensation & Job Type:

Freelance, Contract (Paid) ? Compensation based on experience and project scope.

Estimated Pay Range: $30 ? $75 per hour, depending on expertise.
