Mid-level Web Application Developer

Job Summary

BOSS Logics is a bespoke software developer looking for a motivated Web Application Developer to join our passionate crew of software engineers. The candidate will be expected to work East Coast hours. We focus our development process on end-user experience, and all our team members interface regularly with our stakeholders. This position is remote within the US, but the candidate may occasionally be expected to travel for select meetings.

This candidate will be a pivotal player in the overall architecture and scalability of our platforms and be expected to leverage their skills and knowledge as part of a larger full-stack development team. This includes maintenance, enhancements, documentation, and testing. Position will require strong knowledge of web-focused languages, as well as relational database experience.

Duties Responsibilities

Develop innovative full stack solutions
Work in backend server environments to generate and implement reporting/importing tools for client facing applications
Advocate for best practices in UI Deliver high-quality code into production using CI/CD tools and strategies
Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
Research different software programs, tools and methodologies
Ability to reverse engineer legacy projects within base company framework for maintenance and upgrades as requested

Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience in writing efficient and modular code
A disciplined approach to development, testing, and quality assurance
3 to 5 years of hands-on, in-the-code development experience Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science
2-4 years of experience in PHP development
2-4 years of experience in JavaScript development
1 year of experience in React
Strong understanding of UI development
Basic understanding of server architecture
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to collaborate on different modules of a project
Strong written and verbal communication skills
