We are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology behind our client?s mission. This is more than just a technical leadership role?it?s an opportunity to build a platform that transforms how people connect, create, and belong in their cities and neighbourhoods.

As CTO, you will lead the development of a fast, scalable, and secure platform that empowers thousands of communities and helps people find their place in the world.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Senior Tech Lead in a fast-scaling SaaS, platform, or mobile-first company.
• Expertise in Flutter, PHP (Laravel), TypeScript, JavaScript (Next.js), AWS, and MySQL.
• A passion for community building, social impact, and solving loneliness through technology.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
• Experience architecting and launching scalable platforms with strong backend infrastructure.
• Develop AI-driven features that enhance community engagement and personalisation.
• Optimize the platform for ease of use, reliability, and performance at scale.
• Leverage location-based technology to connect people in their cities and neighbourhoods.
• Build and mentor an engineering team passionate about social impact.
• Create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rapid iteration.
• Implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, security, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with global security and privacy standards.
• Develop robust moderation and community safety tools.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with event-based platforms, social apps, or community-driven products.
• Knowledge of AI, Web3, or decentralized technology.
• A background in user behaviour analytics and engagement-driven design.
