Senior Software Engineer

We're scaling up, and we?re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive our AI strategy while maintaining our core platform functionality.

What you'll be doing:

TL;DR Developing cutting edge AI Pipeline with other Seniors. Maintaining Fullstack infrastructure in Laravel PHP. Maintaining cloud in Heroku, potentially migrate to AWS/Azure 2026. Some Typescript. Some Python. Chance to grow and contribute - company currently in growth phase.
Autonomous, self-motivated, critical thinker who can openly present ideas, solutions, designs while being funded for R&D.
Building and optimizing AI-driven microservices , AI Agents utilising latest tech trends from major players, Anthropic/OpenAI/Google.
Developing and maintaining our core Laravel PHP platform, ensuring scalability and performance.
Deploying and managing applications on Heroku, ensuring stability and efficiency.
Writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to code reviews, best practices, and technical documentation.
Taking ownership of your work, problem-solving independently, and proactively improving our systems.

What we're looking for:

Extensive PHP development
Laravel expertise
Python proficiency, with an interest in automation, AI development, Agentic development.
Comfortable working with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue bonus).
Experience working with Heroku (AWS, GCP or equivalent cloud providers).
Strong understanding of SQL databases.
Experience with software architecture best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
