About The Role CueCamp is seeking a WordPress Developer with extensive experience in web development to join our growing team. If you are fluent in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL and have experience with graphic design tools like Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator, this role is for you.
As a WordPress Developer, you will work on theme customization, plugin development, responsive design fixes, and WooCommerce integrations. You will play a critical role in enhancing web user experiences and ensuring our websites are optimized for performance, usability, and SEO.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities - Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Ensure responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Optimize websites for SEO and improve site speed and performance.
- Analyze site traffic and generate custom reports as needed.
- Implement and manage e-commerce solutions (WooCommerce, shopping carts, SSL).
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs, including Google Maps and payment gateways.
- Perform unit and system integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to enhance UI/UX.
- Use source code management tools (e.g., Git, SVN) to maintain version control.
Qualifications - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Ember.js, Angular.js).
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, with experience in Joomla or Drupal being a plus.
- Ability to design and implement responsive layouts and fluid design concepts.
- Experience with SEO best practices and coding techniques.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch.
- Ability to troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs and developing custom solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative and suggest creative solutions.
Compensation - Full-time salary: $90,000 per year (on average).
- Part-time salary: $35,000 per year.
- Earning potential is not capped, offering opportunities for growth and higher earnings.
