Position Overview: Mode Effect is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Directus to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software applications that cater to our clients' needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our existing solutions and create new products that deliver value and an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements and specifications

  • Build projects using Directus.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software on time
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software offerings
  • Document software design, processes, and code for future reference

Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or PHP
  • Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices
