Full Stack Developer
Description
Our client, a highly respected A-rated insurance carrier, is currently looking to bring on a Microsoft Full Stack Developer to join their growing IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful, enterprise-level development projects in a collaborative and technically progressive environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of front-end and back-end experience, with a passion for building robust, scalable, and secure web applications. Qualified candidates should live in the state of Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance internal and customer-facing applications across the full stack using Microsoft and related technologies.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions to create forward-thinking solutions.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Build modern user interfaces with Angular and responsive web technologies.
- Design and integrate APIs and backend services using .NET technologies.
- Optimize database interactions and ensure consistent application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure software quality.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 10+ years of professional experience in IT systems development, including at least 4 years in software programming and a minimum of 2 years specifically in full stack development.
- Solid experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and WCF.
- Proficiency in Angular (or AngularJS), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with PHP, SQL, and relational database structures.
- Exposure to VB.NET, VBScript, Visual C#, XML, Java, and Visual Cobol is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of web server technologies such as IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field required.
Salary & Benefits:
- $110,000 to $140,000 base salary + annual performance bonuses
