Full Stack Developer and Co-founder

We're a visionary, exciting social media/networking and e-commerce start-up company seeking a brilliant Full-Stack Developer to join the startup and its founding team.

The startup is very youthful, passionate, focused, and eager to build its presence quickly. Our early-stage startup is building a one-of-its-kind social media and networking platform - our startup's initial product launch (first, as a mobile application) -, and we also have a disruptive stealth project in the area of lifestyle + commerce in our eco-system pipeline. The social media and networking platform caters to a niche segment initially, and we have a unique vision for the platform that distinguishes it from other entities in the space. We'll share specific details about our efforts during candidate discussions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to create mobile and, later, web application solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing mobile and desktop applications, especially mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field; graduating students are also encouraged to reach out!
