Title: Full Stack Talend Developer
Location: Remote, PST working hours
Duration: 3-month contract with potential to extend
Pay Range: $50-70/hr
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer on a contract basis to support our Information Technology Services department. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both front and back-end development with specific, demonstrated proficiency in Talend ETL tools, which is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support data integrations using Talend ETL tools, including working with flat files, databases, web services, and message-oriented architectures
- Consult with users and subject matter experts to develop specifications for systems
- Analyze complex data processing applications and implement effective solutions
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in existing systems
- Provide end-user support and training as necessary
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Talend ETL tools is mandatory
- Minimum 4+ years of programming experience in a multi-user environment
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (Java, C#, .NET, HTML, JavaScript, PHP)
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle OR MS SQL) and data management tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to prepare comprehensive technical documentation
- Self-starter with ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
