Role Responsibilities Overview

As a Full-Stack Engineer at accelant, your primary focus will be designing and building robust, scalable HubSpot customizations and integrated platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end technologies and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. It?s ideal for someone who thrives in an all-remote, autonomous environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build custom UI extensions and workflow actions in HubSpot.
  • Assist with website build-outs in HubSpot CMS.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable full-stack web applications and integrations.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code across the front-end and back-end.
  • Actively contribute to the architecture and design decisions for new software systems and features.
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in full-stack development and systems integration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Solid proficiency in server-side languages, particularly Python. (Experience with PHP, Ruby, or Java is also valuable).
  • Demonstrated ability to write complex and efficient SQL queries and manage database interactions.
  • Experience consuming RESTful and/or SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in implementing various authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, API keys, tokens) in a low-code environment.
  • Experience extending or integrating with third-party platforms and APIs, like HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and data structures.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience writing and executing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience building custom UI extensions and workflow actions within HubSpot or similar CRM/Marketing Automation platforms.

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) and ORMs.
  • Experience building or integrating AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or tools like OpenAI?s custom GPTs.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing project delivery experience.
  • Experience with HubSpot's developer platform.
