As a Web Design Intern, you?ll help shape and enhance the online presence of one of these two brands by contributing to website layout, visual design, UI/UX, and content flow. Your work will influence how users experience and engage with our products across the web.
Role Description
This is a part-time, remote, unpaid role for a Web Design Intern at Lumina View or MealTec. You?ll gain hands-on experience designing HTML or WordPress-based websites and working on projects that blend technology, design, and user experience.
This is a valuable opportunity to build your portfolio while learning how to design for real brands in an AI-focused startup environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in redesigning and enhancing websites for Lumina View and/or MealTec.
- Create/Edit web layouts, wireframes, and UI elements using Figma or other design tools.
- Implement and test design changes directly in WordPress.
- Design and optimize landing pages, hero sections, icons, animations, short videos, and other web visuals.
- Maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines across both websites.
- Collaborate directly with the marketing and development teams to align design with functionality.
Who You Are
- A student, recent graduate, or aspiring web designer looking to gain real-world experience.
- Proficient with WordPress and other web design tools and technologies including HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Skilled in Figma or other interface design tools.
- Passionate about user-centered design, brand storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Interested in how design can amplify emerging technologies like AI.
- A self-starter with a sharp eye for detail and a desire to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Internship Details
- Hours: 10?30 hours per week (flexible part-time).
- Start Date: 0-2 weeks from the acceptance date.
- Duration: 90 days.
- Compensation: This internship is unpaid and designed for portfolio-building and experience.
- Location: Remote (U.S. time zones only).
