Director of Web Development

Our client is looking for a Director of Web Development to join their team!

As the Director of Web Development, you will lead and oversee web development initiatives, ensuring high-quality project execution and ongoing site improvements. The role involves managing a team of developers focused on in-place upgrades, maintenance, and optimizations, while also driving the adoption and refinement of design systems in Figma.

You will bring expertise in PHP and WordPress development (if not, Drupal is ok) ensuring seamless development workflows and scalable solutions. While your primary focus is backend development, you should be capable of pivoting to frontend technologies and managing full-stack environments as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing project builds and ensuring design system consistency using Figma.
• Leading and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring efficient ongoing support and upgrades.
• Architecting and optimizing PHP/WordPress solutions (If not, Drupal is ok)
• Managing technical roadmaps, upgrades, and deployments to ensure web platforms remain robust, secure, and scalable.
• Adapting to frontend technologies when necessary to support full-stack development efforts.
