Media Software engineer

We?re looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our media technology team. This role centers around building and optimizing media full stack systems and backend infrastructure using PHP, React, and C++. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in media ingestion, video encoding, and scalable backend development, and will collaborate closely with a senior engineer to craft high-performance, reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust media applications and backend services using PHP, React, and C++.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex systems, particularly within media ingestion and encoding pipelines.
• Develop tools for monitoring and alerting, ensuring early detection and fast resolution of issues.
• Apply backend engineering best practices to optimize for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Partner with media engineers and cross-functional teams to improve media workflows and system efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve issues and explain technical solutions.
• Contribute to a culture of operational excellence through documentation, testing, and process improvement.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the media stack.
