Senior Full Stack Developer (PHP & Vue) ? Legal Industry
Location: UK-based | Hybrid or Remote
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you a confident and capable full stack developer ready to take full ownership of a platform? We?re an established company in the legal industry currently in-housing our development after working with a digital agency ? and we're looking for an experienced developer to lead the charge.
You?ll be the sole developer, working closely with a Business Analyst, QA Engineer, and DevOps specialist. The core of your work will involve iterating on our internal PHP platform, primarily on the front end using Vue.js. Beyond this, you?ll also have the opportunity to explore exciting side projects around data, reporting, and automation (think Power BI, Python, even machine learning down the line).
What You?ll Do
- Own and evolve our internal PHP-based legal platform
- Improve and modernise front-end components with Vue.js
- Collaborate with the wider product and ops team to deliver high-quality features
- Explore data/reporting projects (Power BI, Python) as we expand our tech landscape
- Champion code quality and deploy clean, maintainable solutions
What You?ll Bring
- 4+ years? experience as a full stack developer
- Strong knowledge of PHP (Laravel/Symfony/vanilla)
- Expertise in Vue.js (Vue 2 or 3)
- Experience working independently in a cross-functional team
- Solid grasp of APIs, databases (SQL), and Git workflows
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
- Python for scripting or automation
- Docker, CI/CD, or AWS exposure
- Previous experience in the legal sector or regulated environments
