Chief Technology Officer

Position Summary

Salute is seeking a visionary and commercially minded Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the company?s technology and product innovation strategy. This executive will be responsible for defining and executing technology roadmaps that not only enable operational excellence but also create differentiated, revenue-generating solutions for our customers.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the CTO will play a pivotal role in advancing Salute?s leadership in AI, automation, and emerging technologies - transforming our internal capabilities into market-leading products and services. This leader must bring a balance of technical depth, business acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit to fuel our next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Product Innovation

• Lead the development of customer-facing technology platforms and services that enhance market differentiation and generate new revenue streams.
• Establish a product innovation lifecycle that brings ideas from concept to commercialization quickly and effectively.
• Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to create value-added solutions for clients and internal operations.

Strategic Technology Leadership

• Develop and execute a forward-looking technology roadmap that aligns with Salute?s growth objectives.
• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, shaping the company?s technology vision and strategy.
• Identify market trends and competitive opportunities to ensure Salute remains at the forefront of technological advancement.

Enterprise & Operational Technology

• Oversee the architecture and optimization of enterprise platforms across Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations.
• Drive scalability, performance, and data integration to support decision-making and operational excellence.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Ensure Salute maintains a world-class cybersecurity posture across internal systems and customer-facing solutions.
• Lead risk management strategies to protect intellectual property, client data, and company assets.

Vendor & Partner Ecosystem

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with product innovation and cost-efficiency objectives.

Culture & Team Development

• Foster a high-performance, innovation-driven technology organization.
• Attract, develop, and retain top technology and product talent.
• Champion a culture of experimentation, agility, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology/product executive in a high-growth, innovation-focused organization.
• Deep expertise in developing and monetizing technology products, particularly in AI, automation, and data-driven solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated success in turning internal capabilities into revenue-generating external solutions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• Master?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced business education is highly preferred.
