What is the Role?

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Frontend Focus)

The role will focus primarily on the front-end with client-side development and user interaction. Consequently there will be less focus on technical delivery and more focus on creative problem-solving and user-focused design.

We?re a small, high-impact team (around 70 globally) building a complex, global platform that powers live pricing, inventory, search, payments, and third-party integrations at scale. You?ll be a big cog in a small, fast-moving machine, bringing a wide skill set and real influence. You?re trusted to architect solutions, drive innovation, and see features through from idea to live deployment.

You?re not here for titles, ego, or just the money. You care about building meaningful, elegant solutions. You want to see a business grow because of your contributions. You enjoy mentoring juniors, possibly contributing to open source, and solving technically challenging problems that reflect your ambition and values.

What You?ll Be Doing

  • Own the Full Stack with a Strong Focus on the Frontend: You?ll design and implement features from concept to production. You?ll work with modern JS frameworks like React or Vue and back it with robust, well-architected Laravel/PHP code.

  • Champion the User Experience: Collaborate closely on the UI/UX design to create beautiful, intuitive, and responsive web applications.

  • Solve Complex Engineering Problems: Build and optimise services that interact with real-time availability, hotel APIs, client tools, and internal systems.

  • Drive Scalability and Architecture: Design reusable services, integrate APIs, and work within a modern DevOps workflow (Docker, CI/CD, AWS, etc.).

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features that matter.

Who you are

We?re not after plugin tweakers or code cutters. We?re hiring for engineering depth, creativity, and autonomy. To thrive here, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Laravel/PHP in product environments.
  • Strong frontend skills with React, Vue, or similar.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Solid SQL knowledge (MySQL/PostgreSQL), schema design, query optimisation.
  • Confidence working with REST APIs, JSON, and backend/frontend integration.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, Git, and collaborative workflows.
  • Exposure to cloud deployments, Docker, microservices, and queues is a plus.
  • A sense of design intuition - you care about how things look and feel.
