The Support Engineering team at Zilliz is hiring a Developer Support Engineer to provide hands-on guidance to developers building with Milvus, and to close the feedback loop between users and our product teams.

What You?ll Do

  • Serve as a technical resource for developers using Milvus via support channels like Discord, and virtual meetings
  • Help troubleshooting issues in Milvus Docker/Kubernetes deployment and guide developers toward successful implementations
  • Work directly with strategic users to accelerate adoption. Recommend best practices in large scale vector search and solve deployment challenges
  • Surface feedback to engineering and product teams to inform roadmap decisions

What We?re Looking For - A technical background in computer science, data science, or a related field

  • 2+ years experience in DevOps, solutions engineering, or backend development
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Excellent communication and empathy in developer-facing conversations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with database systems or AI/ML infra
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize user impact, and advocate for developers internally

$130,000 - $190,000 a year

An offered salary is based on location, relevant experience, and domain knowledge.
