The Senior Project Manager (PM) is a strong and proven high-performing project leader responsible for managing and delivering complex to critical customer-facing projects, working with new and existing customers, and is responsible for owning and managing overall project activities. This role emphasizes a focus on Schedule, Quality and Cost while ensuring projects are delivered successfully and customer value is realized.

The Senior Project Manager ensures alignment to customer goals and internal standards, including the iBase-t Solumina (software) Implementation Methodology (SIM). Collaborates with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve customer value realization, ensuring alignment with the statement of work (SOW) and establishing effective governance for projects as per the iBase-t Solumina Implementation Methodology (SIM). The Senior Project Manager also plays a key role in forecasting and achieving resources utilization targets and project related revenues.

This PM serves as the primary point of contact for both customers and internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment, effective governance, and proactive communication. The role also contributes to organizational growth by mentoring PMs, forecasting revenue, and preparing for future program leadership roles.

Essential Functions:

  • Own and execute the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation through closure
  • Engage and manage executive level relationships as a member of the Executive Steering Committee for any programs/projects that you lead
  • Lead high to critical complexity projects, managing budgets, scope, and stakeholder expectations
  • Establish and enforce PMO project governance structures, roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes
  • Build collaborative relationship that increases customer's recognition of the value iBase-t brings to their business, customers, leading to additional engagements
  • Forecast project-related resources utilization, revenues and contribute to financial planning
  • Oversee all activities throughout the project lifecycle to achieve customer value
  • Coordinate with the Resource Managers, up and down stream, to properly staff projects
  • Focal point for internal and external customers; provide frequent project health updates
  • Facilitate the escalation and gate review processes for all project related issues
  • Work with customers to define and prioritize the product backlog for maximum value
  • Confirm Projects' Key Performance Indicators and Metrics are established and baselined
  • Confirm completion of project documentation, while managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Coordinate staffing with Resource Managers and ensure project teams are aligned and efficient
  • Facilitate resolution of escalations and project risks, issues, performance, and baselines project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Metrics
  • Ensure all documentation complies with SIM and PMO procedures
  • Build and sustain collaborative client relationships that promote repeat engagements
  • Identify and documents lessons learned and apply continuous improvement practices
  • Mentor mid-level and junior Project Managers, as required

  • Travel 30-40% of work time

  • Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle

Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, project management, IT, industrial/systems engineering

  • 7 - 10 years industry experience
  • PMP Certification required

Preferred/Desired Experience: - Data Analytics, AI/ML and Modeling desired | PgMP desired | CSM Certification desired

  • Preferred: 3+ years' experience with Aerospace & Defense clients
