Job Summary We are seeking a Chief of Staff to work at Axlora, a fast-growing, bootstrapped fractional technical department dedicated to startups. Startups are fighting to stay alive, and in order to keep engineers focused on the core roadmap, we take compliance, cybersecurity, and IT off their already-full plates as a fractional department.

In this role, you will report directly to our CEO.

Responsibilities As a Chief of Staff, you will be the right hand person to the CEO and the role will adapt to the needs of the CEO (and therefore the needs of the business). We expect the current breakdown of the role to be:

  • Community Lead

  • Planning and executing on monthly events in SF and NY

  • Moderating and maintaining active communication in Axlora social groups

  • Managing content creation strategy

  • Sales Ops

  • Keep sales pipeline data clean

  • Sending follow ups such as quotes, contracts, reminders

  • Talent Ops

  • Source talent and keep talent pipeline up to date

  • Special Projects

  • Examples include updating the marketing website, rethinking internal operations, potentially planning annual retreat, etc.

  9. No person is treated with disrespect Qualifications- Work experience in fields related to management consulting, finance, product management, software engineering, project management

  • Extremely organized: will not let any details slip through the cracks, whether for themselves or for the entire team

  • Thinks like an owner: is constantly thinking about what is the best interest of the business and can provide feedback/push back to the CEO if in the best interest of the business (with well thought out arguments and evidence)

  • (Preferred) experience with startups

Compensation Range: $72K - $84K
