Resident360 is a fast-growing multifamily marketing agency that builds high-performing WordPress websites for apartment communities across the U.S.
We?re looking for a WordPress expert?someone who knows the platform inside and out. From custom plugin development and Gutenberg block creation to advanced API integrations, this role requires deep experience with modern WordPress development. If you?ve built complex solutions from scratch and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, we want to talk. Bonus points if you bring server management experience.
? What You?ll Be Doing
- Custom plugin development
- API integrations with platforms like RealPage and Yardi
- Occasional theme development and customization
- (If applicable) Managing servers, hosting environments, and deployments
- Building WordPress sites as needed
- Supporting Helpdesk requests as needed.
- Custom coding as needed.
? Required Skills & Technologies
- WordPress theme and plugin development
- Gutenberg block development (React, JSX, WP Scripts)
- PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), React
- Git (GitHub or GitLab workflows)
- REST API (consuming and building endpoints)
- HTML, CSS/SASS, responsive and accessible design
- Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
?? Bonus: Server-Side Experience
- Provisioning and configuring new VPS servers (Ubuntu/Debian)
- Setting up staging environments and deployment workflows
- Implementing basic server security (SSL, firewalls, SSH, etc.)
- Managing backups, monitoring uptime, and resolving hosting issues
- Configuring NGINX or Apache, MySQL, Let?s Encrypt SSL, caching, fail2ban
- Experience with hosting providers like Hetzner, Vultr, DigitalOcean
