PHP eCommerce Developer
6+ Month Contract (W2 ONLY, NO C-C)
100% Remote (CST/EST ONLY)
**Job Summary:**We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP eCommerce Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP development with a focus on eCommerce platforms, preferably Magento 2. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our eCommerce applications to deliver a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions using PHP and Magento.
- Customize and extend Magento modules and themes to meet business requirements.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and other developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in development.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in eCommerce and PHP development.
Required Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience in PHP development.
- 2+ years of experience with Magento (preferably Magento 2).
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of eCommerce best practices and SEO principles.
Preferred Qualifications:- Magento certification(s) is a plus.
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify) is a bonus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Estimated Min Rate: $45.50
Estimated Max Rate: $65.00
