We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, primarily using PHP. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects from inception to completion and to contribute to the ongoing support of our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend solutions using PHP and MySQL.
- Work within MVC frameworks, with a preference for Symfony or Zend.
- Utilise MongoDB and Elasticsearch for data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate using GitLab for version control and project management.
- Integrate/use third-party APIs seamlessly into existing systems.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes to meet client needs.
- Conduct technical evaluations, write specifications, and make strategic decisions across multiple projects.
- Enhance web performance, security, and accessibility.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities.
- Capable of working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills with a willingness to engage with clients to understand and address their requirements and issues.
