Paper Carrot Video is a dynamic and growing video production agency leveraging technology to deliver high-quality services nationwide. As we scale our operations and enhance our client and production workflows, we are seeking a creative and skilled Web Developer to build and maintain internal tools, integrations, and potentially explore customer-facing solutions that will drive efficiency, automation, and a best-in-class experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technological backbone of our innovative video production process in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Internal Tool Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom internal Web tools to streamline project management, communication, and operational workflows (e.g., integrations with ClickUp, automated reporting, talent database enhancements).
• API Integrations: Build and maintain integrations between various Web platforms used by Paper Carrot Video (e.g., ClickUp, HubSpot, Wordpress, Slack, potential future platforms).
• Automation Scripting: Develop scripts and automation solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.
• Data Management & Analysis: Design and implement data storage solutions and develop tools for data analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
• Website Enhancement (Potentially): Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement custom features or integrations on the Paper Carrot Video website
• Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues related to internal Web and integrations.
• Code Maintenance & Documentation: Write clean, well-documented code and maintain existing Web applications.
• Security Best Practices: Implement and adhere to security best practices in all development activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, sales, and marketing teams to understand their needs and develop effective technical solutions.
• Explore Emerging Technologies: Research and recommend new technologies that could benefit Paper Carrot Video's operations and service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PHP).
• Experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, etc.).
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and innovative mindset with a desire to learn new technologies.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms.
• Understanding of the video production or digital marketing industry.
