Job Title: Software Engineer I

Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)

Location: Remote

Day to Day:

  • Team: Video Analytics team

Reason for Opening:

  • Need an engineer to join their team to ensure their platforms (Client Video's) metrics are compliance to regulations.

Why is this role important to your team/the project/the company:

  • As policies change, so do compliance regulations. Every few years, new policies roll out, now they have to have existing product be Compliant. GDPR compliance policy.

  • PHP / Hack
  • My SQL
  • C++
  • Good problem-solving skills (must have) - more important than domain specific knowledge

Year of Experience: Mid-level 3-5 YOE

What they do:

  • Reasonable / agitating video related activities
  • Any time customer of client/ watches a video, they process our activities and externally viable metrics which are displayed across products. Need engineers to work on that, they will be working on an internal power the accuracy of the metrics.
  • This candidate will be working on client videos and have to ensure their platform is complaint to regulations. As policies change, so do compliance regulations. Every few years, new policies roll out, now they have to have existing product be Compliant (GDPR compliance policy)
