Company Overview I am currently assisting a well valued client of mine located in the Warrington area that are seeking to add to their Development Team. They are dedicated to delivering a professional and polished service and a range of different products to their clients with the customers journey at the forefront of their work.
Opportunity My client is looking to expand their team and seeking a versatile and experienced Senior Software Developer that specialises in PHP / Laravel Development to join them in their Warrington office on a hybrid / remote basis. This role offers a chance to contribute to their dynamic environment and grow alongside them. The vision is that this individual with be a key member of the team assisting the development of new and existing systems and offering a wealth of experience to the more junior members of the team.
Essential Skills - Proven experience in a Software Development position specialising in PHP / Laravel
- Experience working with Front End technologies such as VueJS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Proficient understanding of AWS Cloud technologies
- Strong Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development
- Adept understanding of the Agile working methodology
- Database experience such as SQL and MySQL database design
- Educated to Degree level with Computer Science or relevant qualifications
Responsibilities - Bringing a fresh approach to Software Development practices and to suggest potential improvements for existing code / solutions
- Work closely with the Head of IT Systems and other stakeholders to assist implement a mutually clear strategy for Software Development within the business
- Taking a lead on development projects as required to support and aid the businesses operations
- Being an advocate for Agile ways of working and integrating that within your work
- Taking a lead on the code maintenance and repair throughout the SDLC
