About Our Client Direct contract with final client - international company dedicated to improving mathematics education in diverse educational contexts. You will work with an international team, collaborating closely with the technical team based in North America to carry out implementation projects in our platform.

Job Description - Technical Definition: Provide low-level technical definition and direction for web and app projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Code Quality Supervision: Oversee and ensure the quality of the codebase through regular reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Programming Support: Assist the development team with programming tasks, troubleshooting, and optimizing code.
  • Technical Communication: Serve as the primary technical liaison within the company, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • IT Management: Oversee IT operations and coordinate with external system companies to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Resource Management: Manage subcontracted resources, ensuring they meet project standards and deadlines.

The Successful Applicant - Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the software development industry, preferably with the technologies mentioned.

  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing and leading teams. Ability to effectively oversee a team of developers, coordinate projects, and ensure that team goals are met.
  • Tech Stack Proficiency: Expertise in a range of technologies including PHP (Laravel framework), Livewire, Tailwind, Alpine, React JS, Next JS, MongoDB, and Express JS.
  • APIs and Integrations: Demonstrated ability to design and implement APIs and integrate with third-party services. Experience ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality of various software components.
  • Language Skills: high English level and a good level of Spanish. You will need it for effective communication within a diverse team and with stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and productivity.
  • Code Supervision and Testing: A strong background in code supervision and testing. We need someone with a focus on high code quality, perform thorough testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
