Our platform, which has been operational for several years, leverages PHP 7.2 and MySQL on Linux to provide reliable and secure services to our global user base. We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team and help maintain, enhance, and expand our cryptocurrency platform.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance our long-running PHP application, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop new features and functionalities in PHP 7.2, adhering to best coding practices and standards.
- Work with MySQL databases to design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Interact with cryptocurrency coin node APIs to integrate and manage various blockchain operations.
- Debug and resolve technical issues related to the application, database, and server environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, system administrators, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure the security of the application by implementing and maintaining best practices for web and database security.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer, preferably with experience on long-running projects.
- Strong proficiency in PHP 7.2 and MySQL, including database design and query optimization.
- Experience with Linux-based server environments.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, including experience interacting with coin node APIs
- Understanding of web security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English fluency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python).
- Knowledge of modern development tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Containers).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration is a bonus
