This full-time, remote position is available to candidates throughout the United States, offering flexible working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. Salons AI offers both contract and regular employment options, focusing on finding the best fit for our team and the successful candidate.

Your Role:As a PHP Developer at Salons AI, you will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of our backend services. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of our central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application, thus a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Key Responsibilities:- Write clean, well-designed PHP code to develop high-performing applications.

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Ensure data security and protection in compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to ideate and innovate applications.

Technical Requirements:- Proven software development experience in PHP.

• Understanding of open-source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc).
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services.
• Experience in integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.

Experience:- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.

• A strong portfolio of developed PHP projects.
• Experience with Laravel, Symfony, Yii, or other PHP frameworks is a plus.
