Fractional CTO Role in Mission-Focused CIC
Are you an experienced CTO in start-ups or growing businesses, looking for a role with real purpose?
We are supporting a Community Interest Company (CIC) ? a commercial, professional organization with a community focus rather than profit, aimed at accelerating energy and emissions reductions ? in their search for a fractional CTO.
This position can be either an employee or a contractor.
About the Role:
We're still defining the full scope of needs, and you would help shape this. Here?s a bit about the organization:
- Clients: Predominantly public sector - we're a professional services provider, not a tech firm.
- CTO Responsibility: Guide the growth of our tech offering, including the development of an online tool aimed at over 30,000 UK schools.
- Key Skills: Expertise in GDPR, data security focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with non-tech stakeholders.
- Role Focus: Provide strategic oversight, not hands-on development (we have a developer for that).
- IT Oversight: Oversee internal IT provision without direct involvement.
