JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: World Campus Learning Design at The Pennsylvania State University, is seeking a highly motivated programmer to help develop and support course content delivery systems and tools. The successful individual will work in a highly collaborative team-based environment to meet the needs of delivering online courses at scale.
Education and Experience: This position will be filled at an Intermediate or Advanced level depending on the final applicant?s experience and education. The Intermediate level requires a minimum of an associate's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience are required for the higher level position.
Successful applicants will be skilled in PHP and Angular and have good team communication skills. They will also be able to work in structured application development and deployment processes utilizing tools such as Docker. Experience with SQL Server for database related development or with AWS is a plus. The ability to learn and create innovative solutions to problems is desirable. Experience working with Content Management Systems and Learning Management Systems is preferred.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$61,800.00 - $115,100.00
