Web Developer and Digital Lead

SmartMark Communications, a fast-paced strategic communications company working across the energy and technology industries and based in the Philadelphia area, is looking for an experienced Web Developer and Digital Lead to support the IT systems of the company. This person will be responsible for all digital development ? from websites to apps ? and will work closely with the Creative Team. This person will also have the responsibility of managing all IT systems at the company and providing IT support to employees, as necessary.

This position is currently a remote position, but all employees, regardless of location, are expected to work 9am-5pm ET.

Candidates should have at least five years of professional experience in the following areas:

Website development using WordPress and other Content Management Systems, including creating templates and sites from scratch, as well as editing templates and PHP
AWS systems, security, and maintenance and an overall understanding of web hosting and server management (DNS settings, etc.)
Common coding languages including JavaScript, Python, React, plus the ability to hand code HTML and CSS
Interactive applications development across iOS & Android, including the development of web or hybrid web applications
Coding and distributing e-blasts on platforms like Constant Contact
IT systems management and backup, including management of AWS servers, organizing passwords, and keeping track of upcoming renewals or updates across SmartMark?s IT systems
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
