Description
Position Title: Python Full Stack
The Full Stack Software Developer will contribute to the development and technical design of the Company?s software systems and platforms.
W2 ONLY no C2C
Required skills include:
? Full stack development skills: ability to work in all layers of computer software development, including client-side or front-end, server-side or back end, database, and operating system.
? Extensive experience with web-based applications and technologies.
? Ability to rapidly understand, support, modify, and enhance a complex legacy system.
? Ability to write code and deliver solutions quickly.
? Core competencies with the following programming languages and technologies: PHP, React, Python, SQL (MariaDB), RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, JSON.
ALL new code is in PYTHON. All Legacy code is PHP.
? Experience with the following programming languages and technologies: JavaScript, React-Native, jQuery, JQueryUI, Linux (Debian), Apache.
? Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
? Familiarity and ability to work with remote-work communication technologies such as Slack and Zoom for discussion, meetings, and screen-sharing.
? Ability to maintain productivity and focus while working remotely.
Primary responsibilities include:
? Act as a technical subject matter expert for design, migration, adoption of new technologies & standards, and external solution delivery to software systems and platforms.
? Contribute to applications? technical architecture and design.
? Contribute to all aspects of complex projects delivery, including requirements analysis, software- design, development and implementation.
? Develop new applications and integrations with internal and external systems.
? Enhance and support existing applications and integrations.
? Improve legacy systems through refactoring of existing code.
? Participate in the migration of legacy systems to newer technologies and platforms.
? Constantly find ways to create a clear and measurable degree of separation between internal solutions and those of its competitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
? 10+ years of strong multi-discipline experience, with a preference for technology consulting and complex business solutioning.
? 5 - 8 years of direct industry development experience.
? 5+ years? experience with PHP, React, and Python.
? Bachelor?s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
? Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills.
? Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to thrive in changing situations.
? Able to deliver on established timelines.
? Comfortable with experimentation, amenable to trying new approaches, open to alternative methods of execution and delivery.
? Ability to push self and others to think about innovations and ways to conquer new digital frontiers.
? Ability to find solutions which are designed to create competitive superiority
? High energy and positive attitude.
? Ability to engage with customers, vendors, and team members in a professional, polite and collegial manner always.
? Self-starting with an ability to work at max productivity when alone and unsupervised.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a breadth of diverse technical experience and capabilities. This is an individual contributor role requiring a blend of entrepreneurial creativity and highly exacting large-scale execution skills.
