Web Development Specialist

Looking for a contracted Web Development & Infrastructure Specialist to support a clinical research organization.

This role is 100% remote but candidates must be willing to work CST hours (Monday-Friday, 8-4 or 9-5 CST).

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Actively engage in website development tasks, providing direct support to both internal and external web developers.
• DNS and Domain Management: Oversee DNS changes and ensure domain names point correctly to websites, integrating these solutions seamlessly into the development process.
• Domain Registration and Management: Manage the purchasing and oversight of URLs when necessary, coordinating with client services to ensure domains are properly maintained.
• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical assistance, including guidance on network solutions, DNS codes, API connections, and implementation of tracking pixels/codes.
• Client and Team Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and team members to address and resolve domain/DNS and development-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Web Development Expertise: Proficiency in web development languages and tools, with a focus on integrating technical solutions into development workflows.
• Technical Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of DNS, domain registration, and network solutions as they relate to web development.
• Problem Solving Ability: Skilled at diagnosing and solving technical issues within both web development and infrastructure contexts.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to clients and team members, facilitating smooth operations and problem resolution.
• Hands-On Experience: Experience in supporting web developers with both infrastructure and development tasks.
