About The Role We are currently seeking a talented Web Specialist to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a digital-savvy professional to contribute to the ongoing success of our online presence. As a Web Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our hospital websites, ensuring they serve as effective tools for patient engagement, information dissemination, and organizational branding. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute updates, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze website performance, and implement strategies to enhance usability. This position is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of web management, analytics, and digital marketing practices who is eager to support our mission of community health and innovation.

Key Responsibilities - Manage daily operations of the hospital?s website and digital assets to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and content accuracy.

  • Serve as the primary contact for urgent website updates, efficiently executing changes to meet tight deadlines without disrupting ongoing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with content creators, marketing, and clinical teams to update and optimize website content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and hospital messaging.
  • Customize web page layouts using modules to create engaging, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to identify and correct misspellings, broken links, or design inconsistencies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly, coordinating with developers or IT teams when necessary.
  • Support digital marketing strategies by executing website enhancements that increase user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advances to continually improve website usability and effectiveness.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve content strategy and site structure.
  • Analyze internal site search data to identify popular queries and areas for improvement.
  • Identify factors impacting website speed and performance, such as large images or inefficient scripts, and recommend solutions.
  • Produce monthly performance dashboards and reports for executive leadership, highlighting key insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage external email communications, including digital invitations and newsletters, to external audiences as needed.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects to support organizational goals related to digital presence and patient experience.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, information technology, data processing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with website management, content updates, and digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with CSS, templates, browsers, and navigational concepts.
  • Experience with keyword research, search engine optimization (SEO), and related industry platforms such as SEMrush, Siteimprove, or Conductor.
  • Ability to perform competitive analysis within the healthcare or related industries.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and platforms to monitor site performance and user behavior.
  • Experience with digital content creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar graphics editing software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment.

  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, or other coding languages.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing or communications roles.
