Software Engineer

An exciting project has come up with a fast-growing tech start-up changing the trade industry.

Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

Rate: £400-£450 per day outside IR35

Length: 6 months

Location: Remote (UK based)

Job/Project Overview:

We are looking for an experienced developer to work on and improve the company's Front-End systems as well as the Backend. You will work closely with the operational team, and technical staff to create a road map of improvements to the existing system.

*Key Responsibilities:

- Produce clean efficient code to specification

- Work with the operations team to gather requirements, and design functional solutions

- Troubleshoot issues, and recommend upgrades within the back-end and front-end systems

- Ensure automated tests are kept up to date

- Ensure technical documentation is kept up to date

Key Competencies:

Essential experience working with the following technologies/languages:

- React

- PHP

- MySQL

- Laravel

- ORM (within Laravel)

- APIs

- Git (ideally GitHub)

Non-essential experience working with the following technologies/languages:

- Laravel sanctum

- Laravel Orchard

- Laravel Vapor

- AWS Lambda

- JavaScript

- Experience with devops tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)

- Experience with Agile development methodologies

- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
