OverviewRTeams is actively seeking a proficient PHP Developer to join our remote development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in PHP and related technologies, with a passion for creating efficient and scalable web applications. This role involves developing and coding back-end components and connecting applications with other web services.

Key Responsibilities- Write clean, secure, testable, and modular PHP code

• Resolve complex performance issues and architectural challenges
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integrate data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
• Produce detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Technical RequirementsCore Skills & Knowledge- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Yii, or CakePHP

• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Understanding of accessible and secure compliance (Depending on the specific project)
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience in creating scalable applications
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Experience with integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Knowledge of PHP unit testing frameworks

Preferred Experience- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PHP Developer

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure
• Practical experience with additional programming languages like Java, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber
• Experience with CMS framework
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
