About CybaVerse

CybaVerse is a fast-growing cyber security company on a mission to revolutionise the industry with cutting-edge security applications. As we expand, we are building our in-house development team to accelerate the evolution of our cyber security platform. This role is crucial in driving our backend architecture forward as we move towards a microservices-based infrastructure.

We are also in an exciting phase of growth, with plans to secure additional funding to scale our cyber security app - your work will directly contribute to this success.

Key Responsibilities

· Building, migrating and maintaining backend services in Python (FastAPI) and frontend user interfaces in JavaScript (ReactJS)

· Contributing to software, database and product design

· Creating and supporting scalable, maintainable services used at scale

· Using Git confidently for version control and team collaboration

· Writing code that follows best practices for maintainability, performance, and security

· Supporting CICD processes through the creation of unit and integration tests

· Building and maintaining third party integrations

Technical experience / understanding

· Experience building Python applications

· Experience creating and interacting with Web APIs

· Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS

· Understanding of databases SQL / NoSQL

· Understanding of Git code version control

· Understanding of Secure development practices such as OWASP Top 10
